Parochial Church Council

The Parochial Church Council of St Nicolas, Nuneaton is similar to the trustee body or executive committee of the church. It comprises clergy, churchwardens and lay representatives of the church.

Together with the vicar, the PCC has a responsibility ‘in promoting in the parish the whole missions of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.’ (Parochial Church Council (Powers) Measure 1956, Section 2).

PCC members are elected each year at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (usually held in the spring).
