PLEASE NOTE: As of 1 July, during the current COVID19 crisis, we are able to conduct funerals in church but restrictions will apply.
We count it a privilege to be able to be able to offer help and support when someone you know and love has died.
A funeral can be a helpful way to mark the end of someone’s life, say goodbye and celebrate with thanksgiving the life of the person.
The ministers of St Nicolas’ Church are able to conduct funerals in church or at the crematorium or at the graveside in a cemetery.
You can contact us directly for more information and advice or your chosen funeral director can contact us to make arrangements.
The Church of England website can also help you with planning.
We hold an annual memorial service in which we remember with thanks those we love and see no longer. For more information or to have the name of a loved one included in the service please contact us.
If you would like to arrange an individual memorial service for a loved one please contact us.
