Interfaith Week: Coventry & Warwickshire Peace Festival
- 1:00 PM
- St Nicolas Church, Nuneaton
Join us at St Nicolas Church, Nuneaton, as we mark national Inter Faith Week and Coventry & Warwickshire’s Peace Festival with an inspiring project celebrating remembrance, inclusion, diversity, and peace through poetry and live performance.
Organised in partnership with Coventry & Warwickshire SACREs, Godiva Trust, Coventry Multi Faith Forum, and St Nicolas Church, this initiative brings together local young people from primary, secondary, and post-16 schools to explore shared values and build community connections across generations.
What to Expect
Under the theme “The Light That Guides Us to a Shared Future,” participants will collaborate with a professional poet to express their reflections on peace, hope, and reconciliation through the written and spoken word.
- Collaborative Workshops: Young people will explore the story of the Unknown Soldier, local heritage opportunities, diverse worldviews, and shared humanity.
- Live Showcase Performance: Students will present their original poetry, storytelling, and creative performances to parents, school communities, and local civic leaders.
